Pathway to Trades
Construction Career Exploration for Oklahoma Students
Construct My Future brings construction professionals and educators together to create powerful, hands-on learning experiences. Students learn directly from mentors, explore real job sites, and gain confidence through experience – camps, internships, and workforce partnerships – not just textbooks.
Every program is designed to help students build skills, ask questions, and imagine a future they didn’t know existed.
EMPOWERING STUDENTS WITH REAL OPPORTUNITY
Why Construct My Future Was Created
Success Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All
Founded in 2022, Construct My Future has evolved from a local summer camp into a statewide workforce initiative. We provide students with a variety of career-aligned opportunities, showcasing the construction industry as a premier professional destination for the next generation of builders.
Bridging the Gap
For too long, a narrow definition of “success” has caused families to overlook high-wage opportunities in the trades. We bridge this gap by championing multiple educational avenues—whether through apprenticeships, technical certifications, or specialized college degrees in management and engineering. With average salaries starting at $55,000, we show students that the construction industry offers immense growth potential without the necessity of student debt.
Our Purpose in Action
We provide direct, real-world exposure to the people and projects that build our communities. By connecting students with real-world experiences—from the field to the front office—we prove that a career in construction offers more than just stability. We empower students to build a future defined by purpose, pride, and professional excellence.
