A Summer Camp That Constructs More Than Projects

Engage, explore, and experience construction up close

Construct My Future Camp is a week-long summer program for middle schoolers hosted at the Engineering Technology Center at OSU-OKC. Campers explore careers in the trades by learning real skills and participating in engaging, instructor-led activities.
Each day, students complete four hands-on activities, gaining exposure to fields like carpentry, heating and cooling, heavy machinery, painting, and more. This isn’t just career exploration – it’s about building confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

What You Can Expect

Safe. Structured. Skills-focused.

CMF Camp is designed to be both exciting and safe. Campers are supervised at all times by instructors and volunteers who are passionate about education and skilled trades. Students follow a consistent schedule, receive lunch and snacks daily, and gain valuable insight into construction careers they might never have considered before.

The Trades Are a Path to Purpose

A high-demand, high-wage future without college debt

Construction offers real career opportunities for students who want to work with their hands, solve problems, and make a difference. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, many construction roles offer paid training and strong wages – without the need for a traditional four-year degree.
CMF Camp helps students discover this path early, before they choose high school electives, career tech programs, or post-secondary plans.
